Aries Ascendant (Mesha Lagna)

Aries rising gives an energetic, direct and courageous personality. You like to be first, act quickly and learn by doing. Mars, the lagna lord, makes you competitive and protective of the people you care about, and you often have a strong, active build and a lively face. Leadership, sport, defence, engineering, surgery and entrepreneurship suit this temperament. Your challenge is patience: starting is easy, finishing needs discipline. Learning to pause before reacting turns your natural fire into lasting achievement. Relationships go best with partners who give you independence and enjoy your honesty.
