Ketu, the south node of the Moon, is the shadow planet of detachment, intuition and past skills. It gives depth, research ability and spiritual interest, but can make you feel disconnected from the area it occupies. Its house shows what comes naturally to you and where you are learning to let go.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac: a movable fire sign ruled by Mars. It stands for beginnings, courage, speed and self-assertion. Planets here act quickly and directly, preferring action to waiting. It is the sign of the pioneer, the athlete and the soldier. In the body it is linked with the head, and in life with fresh starts and independent effort.
Astrology describes tendencies, not certainties. A single placement is only one part of a chart; the whole kundli, its strength and the running dasha change how it shows up. For guidance and interest only.
