Mercury is the planet of intellect, speech, trade, writing, calculation and learning. It is youthful, curious and adaptable, and it takes on the nature of the planets around it. A strong Mercury gives quick thinking and good business sense; a stressed Mercury can scatter attention. Its house shows where you think and communicate most.
Capricorn is a movable earth sign ruled by Saturn. It stands for ambition, discipline, structure, responsibility and long-term achievement. Planets here become practical, patient and goal-driven. It is the sign of the administrator, the engineer and the builder.
Astrology describes tendencies, not certainties. A single placement is only one part of a chart; the whole kundli, its strength and the running dasha change how it shows up. For guidance and interest only.
