Mercury is the planet of intellect, speech, trade, writing, calculation and learning. It is youthful, curious and adaptable, and it takes on the nature of the planets around it. A strong Mercury gives quick thinking and good business sense; a stressed Mercury can scatter attention. Its house shows where you think and communicate most.
Scorpio is a fixed water sign ruled by Mars. It stands for depth, transformation, research, secrecy and willpower. Planets here become intense, private and determined. It is the sign of the researcher, the surgeon and the investigator, and it does nothing halfway.
Astrology describes tendencies, not certainties. A single placement is only one part of a chart; the whole kundli, its strength and the running dasha change how it shows up. For guidance and interest only.
